3D objects (dataset families) that incorporate municipal rules are key to driving industry adoption of automated BIM review.
In order to prepare models for automatic compliance reviews, Multi-AR is exploring the development of a Digital Policy Library. The library contains standardized 3D building components with built-in information, dimensions, clearances and types that meet municipal regulatory standards.
These 3D BIM building components help professionals to quickly and easily build a BIM model that is compliant with municipal codes and ready for automated review.
Models that are authored clearly allow for reliable automation. In turn, this enables faster review, clearer submissions, and faster housing delivery.
